Search runs, history, and results
MailGen represents each search as a separate run. The selected engine can query the database or OpenSearch. OpenSearch can also search full message bodies. Results remain restricted to mailboxes you can access.
The default text match is containment without case or accent differences. Text matching and visual filters give more control.
Results and counts can update during a run. An empty successful search, partial results, cancellation, and failure have separate states. A saved search can start a new run later.
History retains references to previously found messages and the search data from that run. Opening a result shows the message's current content. History is not an archive of old message bodies. Deleted or inaccessible messages have a separate indication.
Date conditions use calendar days in Europe/Budapest. An upper bound that specifies only a date includes that entire day. Provider and storage timestamps resolve to UTC.
