Open conversations in separate windows

Sign in and select a mailbox with mail read access. Open a conversation from a mail list.

  1. Select Pop out conversation to open a separate movable, resizable reader.
  2. Select Dock conversation to bottom to minimize it to the taskbar.
  3. Select its subject on the taskbar to restore it. Its close button closes only that reader.

Changing folders preserves separate readers. Switching mailboxes hides readers from the previous mailbox. Reply, reply all, and forward use the reader's own mailbox and require their corresponding permissions.

A single list click updates the shared preview. A double click or Pop out creates an independent reader. Later list selections do not replace its content. Closing or minimizing the preview releases its preview role.

Use window layouts to arrange readers and desktop recovery to retain their references. A missing or inaccessible conversation can show a restore error. A saved window does not grant access to its source.
