Understand chat ownership and mailbox context

A new Complexity conversation belongs to the signed-in actor and tenant. The actor is the application user whose permissions authorize actions. A mailbox is a separate connected source of mail. See key identity concepts and first login.

Chats remain available when switching MailGen accounts. The composer starts with No mailbox. Select one of your owned connected mailboxes for a response that needs mail tools. Microsoft connections require Microsoft Graph setup. Google connections require Google setup.

The selected mailbox binds to that request. A later account switch does not redirect an accepted run. Tools still require current read or mutation permission, the product license, and the separate tool grant.

Older account-bound conversations keep their access boundary. If an earlier branch contains mailbox-derived tool results, a different mailbox can require a new branch or conversation. A previous result does not retain access after permission revocation.
