Start and use Complexity chat
Complexity is MailGen's personal AI chat. The full page and floating assistant share the same conversation and message draft. Complete first login. Your tenant must permit chat and the selected model.
Start a conversation
- Open Complexity or the floating assistant.
- Choose a model from your allowed catalog.
- For mail work, choose an owned connected mailbox in the composer. A general chat can start with No mailbox.
- Write and send your message.
The model can use only enabled, authorized tools. Model, reasoning, and context choices follow tenant and group limits. The context indicator estimates the current request size. It differs from cumulative billing tokens.
Progress and continuation
The answer arrives progressively. Tools show preparation, running, completed, or error states. Browser disconnection does not automatically stop accepted background work. Returning restores the display from saved history.
Stop stops the run and retains its partial answer. Retry requests another run. Editing or regenerating can create another conversation branch. Earlier versions remain available.
Files and protected actions
A chat attachment can be at most 50 MiB. It can reach the model only after a successful virus scan. Scan failure blocks its use. Model capabilities also restrict usable file types.
Review send and deletion proposals on the chat approval card. A model proposal is not execution permission. Queue acceptance and provider confirmation are separate states. Inspect mailbox operation confirmation in Sync Center.
Continue with result workspaces, tools and language controls, and chat identity and mailbox context.
