Start sorting from Complexity chat

Open Complexity, select your own connected mailbox, and enable the required sorting tools. Each tool needs its own group grant and operation permission. Sorting is separate from automatic replies.

listSortingRuns reads up to 50 recent runs with mail.sorting.read. startSortingRun proposes an exact selection of at most 100 owned messages and requires mail.sorting.run.start. Your current message must explicitly request sorting.

To approve startSortingRun, the run must use an active, owned, verified Microsoft mailbox binding. Complete Microsoft Graph setup before using this approval path. This restriction applies to start approval, not to every sorting read or control. Approve the displayed selection in the browser before execution.

Pause, resume, cancel, and retry use their corresponding mail.sorting.run.* permissions. Each control checks the exact owned run before changing it. Rule editing requires separate folder or label rule permissions.

Acceptance does not mean provider mutations are complete. Follow processing in Sorting and operations in Sync Center. If the messages or rules changed since the proposal, request a fresh proposal rather than approving stale work.
