Understand saved window layouts
Save a layout from the bottom taskbar's Desktop settings after arranging your windows. See desktop save and recovery controls for prerequisites and save modes.
A saved workspace can contain references and placement for composers, conversation readers, contacts, standalone Complexity windows, and result windows. It retains size, position, minimized state, maximized state, snap placement, and stacking order.
A layout is not a copy of messages or chats. It contains no message body, prompt, attachment bytes, or private key. Opening a referenced source checks current access again.
A missing, locked, or revoked source can show its own restore error while other windows restore. Temporary source failure does not automatically rewrite the saved layout.
Use browser profiles to choose the saved layout for a new tab. Use sync groups to deliver saved copies to selected browsers.
