Gmail content and history checkpoints

MailGen reads messages, drafts, labels, and attachments from the connected Gmail mailbox. Complete Google Cloud setup first. Each attachment belongs to an exact source message and MIME part.

Raw source and decoded text or HTML can occupy separate objects. Gmail system views can overlap because one message can carry several labels. Local MailGen folders are a separate organization feature.

Incremental reads resume from a saved history checkpoint. MailGen does not invent Microsoft fields when Google data is absent. The history worker applies pages, repairs search, and only then completes the history session. A changed index generation prevents completion with mixed index evidence.

After the initial import, wait separately for search readiness. See history and push for later changes.
