Mailbox priority and scam assessments
Priority is MailGen metadata. It does not change Microsoft categories or importance. Mailbox introductions, AI profiles, and priority definitions use owner_tenant_id and owner_user_id boundaries. See mailbox identities.
| Table | Content |
|---|---|
mailbox_priority_settings | Introduction, enablement, profile-context choice, scam threshold, and separate priority/scam AI profiles |
priority_definitions | Name, description, color, mailbox-unique rank, and shared sorting rule configuration |
email_priority_assessments | Per-message priority, rank snapshot, scam/relevance scores and reasons, state, error, and source run |
Higher priority rank wins. Folder sorting instead favors a lower number. The assessment rank snapshot preserves the previous result when reassessment fails. sorting_runs.priority_snapshot records the settings and definitions for a run.
Scores are nullable integers from 0 through 10. null means unassessed, not zero. For example, relevance can remain unassessed without a profile. States are pending, completed, and failed. Failure preserves earlier values and reports the error separately. A successful evaluation with no match clears the previous priority assignment.
Deleting a message cascades to its assessment. Deleting a priority definition sets the relationship to NULL, while scores and reasons remain. A stored rank counts as an active assignment only while its priority relationship exists.
