Schedule a message with Outlook

Use this procedure for a Microsoft mailbox with Graph access and a saved provider draft.

  1. Check recipients and attachments in the composer.
  2. Save the draft.
  3. Choose a future delivery time and time zone.
  4. Submit the schedule.
  5. Check Scheduled and Sync Center.

MailGen submits the saved Microsoft draft with an absolute delivery time. After submission, Outlook handles delivery. MailGen does not wait until that deadline with a local timer.

The adapter rejects a time that already passed and drafts with relative Outlook delay properties. Change those relative settings in Outlook first.

Use Cancel send and Reschedule to change a schedule. Near delivery or during uncertain provider state, the change can fail. Do not send a second copy instead of checking confirmation.
