Times and time zones
MailGen stores instants in UTC. The interface formats them with the selected language and the feature time zone. A birthday is a calendar date, not an instant to shift between zones.
Calendar events retain their original time-zone meaning and daylight-saving rules. For a scheduled send, check the selected zone. The same wall-clock value in another zone can mean a different delivery instant. See Outlook scheduling.
MailGen does not rewrite dates inside MIME headers, message text, or attachments. Provider timestamp metadata and a date written by a person are different data.
Operators must preserve UTC database and server-session settings. Before converting a legacy timestamp without a zone, establish whether its original value meant UTC or local wall time. The conversion differs.
