Enable Complexity tools for a group
Open the group's Agent tool access in Account administration with group-management access. Complete account setup. Enable each required tool separately.
The conversation's enabled list selects tools but does not grant permission. See tool selection. The model receives only selected tools within its supported scope that current grants, permissions, and licenses allow. Without a current display-tool grant, the corresponding display tool cannot execute, even in a conversation without a mailbox. Continue cannot add tools beyond the preceding run's allowance. These checks do not create grants or restore removed grants.
The agent acts as the signed-in actor, the application user whose permissions authorize actions. Mail actions use a separate owned mailbox. See identity concepts. Execution needs current chat access, the operation permission, relevant product license, and mailbox access where applicable.
A grant does not expand underlying user rights. Automatic-reply tools need reply permissions. Sorting tools need sorting permissions. A shared rule editor does not combine those grants.
For send, deletion, and other approval-required actions, inspect the exact target before confirming. Changed content or revoked rights can need a fresh proposal. The application checks authorization again during execution.
