Use generated interactive views

Ask Complexity for an interactive view with Interactive view enabled in the tool picker. Chat/model access and the corresponding tool authorization still apply. The result can appear in the chat or result sidebar.

A view can contain forms, tables, charts, formulas, tabs, and collapsible explanations. During native preview, controls stay empty and disabled. Preview shows static panels and branches without authored, default, or saved field values. Wait until validation completes before interacting.

Interact with a completed view

Change values with sliders, numeric inputs, text fields, or selectors. Local calculations and chart updates do not start another model call. The view follows the application theme, typography, and reduced-motion preference.

Linked outputs can share state. Valid values persist. Concurrent edits cannot silently overwrite a conflicting revision. Locked, unloaded, or read-only views disable mutation controls.

Data and access boundaries

Editing or saving values does not send them to the model. Use Submit input for disclosure. Passwords and secret fields are excluded from general durable state and automatic model input. In custom runtime v2, trusted secret entry reports only an unverified completion boolean. Mark as provided discards the value. See custom-view secret entry for expiry and reset behavior.

Images and videos use application-approved checked attachments. Arbitrary external media URLs and executable JavaScript are outside the generated-view contract. SVG output is filtered.

Invalid or partial generation is not a completed interactive view. Wait for completion or inspect the reported error.

Earlier revisions retain their own content. Host actions require an explicit click. A generated interface does not grant mailbox permissions or bypass approval cards.
